Pediatric Dentist – Dr. George J. Meadows
Dr. Meadows was born and raised in Belgrade, North Carolina. He received his bachelor’s degree in biology from The University of North Carolina, Pembroke. After graduation, he took a leadership consultant position at Theta Xi Fraternity Headquarters in St. Louis, Missouri, for one year before entering dental school.
Dr. Meadows graduated from Nova Southeastern University with his Doctorate in Dental Medicine in addition to serving in several leadership positions throughout his tenure there.
At this point, he decided to enter into the University of North Carolina, Chapel Hill for a 2-year general dental practice residency. He further developed his skills in sedation dentistry and medically compromised patients while serving as Chief Resident in his 2nd year.
Dr. Meadows always possessed a desire to work with children. So once he completed his residency at UNC-CH, he moved to Rhode Island and entered a comprehensive 2-year pediatric dentistry residency. He graduated from Lutheran Medical Center at St Joseph’s Hospital in Providence, Rhode Island.
In 2008, Dr. Meadows completed the rigorous process of board certification (written and oral examinations) with the American Board of Pediatric Dentistry. He’s licensed to practice dentistry in Florida and North Carolina.
Dr. Meadows is also a member of several dental organizations including the American Dental Association of Florida, West Coast Dental Association, American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry and the Southeastern Society of Pediatric Dentistry. He served as the past leader of the Manatee County Dental Society’s community outreach program. He has a special interest in mission work, and regularly volunteers his services at Remote Area Medical events.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Meadows enjoys several activities. He loves spending time with his wife, Jennifer, and his daughter, Avah.
Dr. Meadows is also an avid sports fan. He enjoys playing golf and fishing. He’s a huge Pittsburgh Steelers and North Carolina State Wolfpack fan.
Orthodontist – Dr. Michael Insoft
Working as an orthodontist has been a true blessing in my life. I can hardly call my profession as an orthodontist “work,” because I thoroughly enjoy creating beautiful smiles on a daily basis!

Outside the Office
I am a native of Baltimore, MD, and have called St. Petersburg my home for over 40 years. My wife, Tammy, and I have two children, Brandon and Haley, and two dogs named Oreo and Lucy. When I have free time, I enjoy stand up paddle boarding with my dogs and wife, watching my daughter dance, and going fishing with my son.

Orthodontics is the greatest profession in the world. I couldn’t imagine doing anything else! I use my education and hands-on training to the best of my abilities to give my patients the best results possible. During my years in dental and orthodontic school, I was honored to receive numerous awards, including admission into the Phi Delta Honor Society, the Delphi Society, and the Omicron Kappa Upsilon Honor Society. I was also awarded the Outstanding Leadership and Academic Excellence Award by the American Association of Women Dentists.
Outside the Office
I am a native of St. Petersburg, FL, and have lived in Seminole since 2006. My husband, Gabriel, and I have two children, George and Dominique. When I’m not in the office, I can be found spending time with my family and traveling.
General Dentist for Children – Dr. Pardo
Dr. Maria Pardo was born in Cuba, raised in Miami and attended dental school at the University of Maryland in Baltimore. She had always wanted to work with children due to the kindness of her own pediatrician as a child, therefore she later completed the Mini-Pediatric Dental Residency at the University of Florida. She now proudly enjoys her role as a general dentist working with children within Meadows Family Dentistry.
Dr. Pardo has lived in Bradenton since 1994 where she shares her life and love with her 2 teenage sons. She loves dogs, birds, and horses and has a toy-size Maltese/shih-tzu mix named Patch.
Dr. Pardo gets a thrill out of Taekwon-Do and after 5 years, she has achieved her advance red belt and is currently preparing to test for her 1st degree black belt. She also loves cold weather and the mountains, reading, salads, pistachio almond ice cream, and little burger with her ketchup. Her perfect day starts with breakfast at noon and is spent with her sons.
Matt Witelus, DDS

Dr. Mateusz (Matt) Witelus was born in Toronto, Canada as a first generation North American from a family that hails from Poland. He moved with his parents to Venice, Florida in 1996. He attended Venice High School and graduated from the University of Florida with a degree in biology. After a brief stint as an urbanite in New York City, where he attended dental school at New York University, Dr. Witelus moved back to Florida and eventually found his way back to the Gulf Coast. He currently lives in Bradenton with his partner Lauren, dog Sammy, and their three cats: Arthur, Ellie, and Flapjack.
Dr. Witelus is an active member of the Florida Dental Association and loves to further his education to keep up to date with the rapidly growing dental field. Since graduation, Dr. Witelus has spent hundreds of hours in continuing education courses to expand his knowledge and skills. Some of his favorite topics of study are dental implants, digital dentistry, modern restorative materials, and socket preservation.
Outside of the office, Dr. Witelus is an avid gamer, loves to attend metal concerts, and is fond of sci-ft movies. Although he loves Florida, his favorite outdoor activities are skiing, hiking, and generally being around mountains. You can also find him frequenting restaurants, where some of his favorite meals are raw oysters, ramen, and a nice glass of bourbon.
